On Aug 25, 2010, the minimum allowable wage for domestic helpers in Hong Kong will remain at $3,580 per month, the Labour Department says. The food allowance in lieu of free food for them will rise $10 to $750 per month. The new level will apply to all contracts signed from Aug 26, 2010.

2010年9月23日(香港特區成立紀念日)為香港法定假期，如僱員按連續性合約受僱滿三個月便可享有假期。 September 23rd, 2010 (The HKSAR Establishing Day) is one of the Statutory Holiday in Hong Kong. An employee having been employed under a continuous contract for not less than 3 months is entitled to the holiday.
